Dear Colleagues,
The 2007 USPS Rate Case is right around the corner. I just got back from the NPF and I realize I have my work cut out form me of how best to adjust my operation to the changes while managing my production and postage spend. I am sure many of you are in the same situation. To assist the membership, we have put together a presentation on “Size Matters”. This is an overview of the 07 Rate Case which highlights the significant changes in how size (dimensions and flexibility) will need to be factored in to postage rates. Postage is going up, but there are ways to manage the increases and this session will be a vehicle to illustrate your options.
The event is being hosted and presented by Neopost. After the presentation you can walk their show room and check their comprehensive mailing solutions. They are also providing lunch for the chapter. I expect there will be a lot of discussion going on about the subject of the day, so don’t miss it. It will be a great opportunity to learn about the rate case from a practical operational standpoint and discuss issues with your peers. This is an open forum so feel free to invite non-members of the association. I look forward to seeing you there.
Bill Whitteaker
President NJ MSMA
PS: I also heard about some nice giveaways from Neopost for those in attendance.
